      Yuan-Pei Lin (Senior Member, IEEE) was born in Taipei, Taiwan, She received the B.S. degree in control engineering from the National Chiao-Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in , and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, CA, USA, in and , respectively.
